Ghosts of Colorado by Dennis Baker
This book covers our numerous investigations and research at the Hotel Colorado in
Glenwood Springs. It also gives a blurb on the Potter's Field cemetery and a photograph
from when we actually put some weight in 'orbs'. The author also provides investigator
accounts of other purported haunted locations within the state of Colorado.
***The author of this book has stated that the famous gunslinger Doc Holliday
died in the Hotel Colorado. This is incorrect. Holliday died in The Hotel
Glenwood (similar name) which was on Grand Avenue and is now a business
complex. There are reports however of an apparition resembling Holliday being
seen on the 5th floor of the hotel. Guests frequently leave whiskey and
chewing tobacco for this spirit in the hotel.
